Pharos Recycling is the first company to crush and wash PET bottles with international standards in Egypt. It all started back in the 2002 with collecting garbage in the city of Safaga along the Red Sea coast in Egypt. Pharos Recycling was the first recycling company in Egypt to crush and wash PET bottles with international standards. The quality of our crushed PET bottles enabled us to penetrate the European and Asian fiber-production market and export around 600 tons per month to the Chinese market alone. In 2008 the Egyptian government imposed an export fee that limited the number of recycled PET bottles exporters in Egypt. Pharos Recycling grabbed that opportunity to integrate horizontally, and in 2013 Pharos Recycling became the first company in Egypt to pelletize PET flakes.

Just On Table

Just on table is our own app that has been built from scratch. Just On table is a tool for restaurants that connect customers to restaurants with below features.

Tableside Ordering: Customers can use the application to browse the menu, place orders, and make modifications or special requests for their meals directly from their tables. This supports the waiter especially in peak times and provides convenience for the customers.

Dine-In Experience: The application allows customers to interact with the menu and place orders while dining in at the restaurant. They can explore different options, customize their meals, and have the orders delivered to their table.

Promotion: The application can also serve as a promotional tool for restaurants, allowing them to reach a wider audience and potentially increase sales.

Seamless Payment Process: Customers can make payments directly through the application, eliminating the need to wait for the waiter to bring the check. This provides a hassle-free payment experience and saves time for both customers and staff.

Delivery Ordering: In addition to dine-in orders, the application allows customers to place delivery orders. They can select their desired dishes, provide delivery details, and complete the payment process, all within the app.

In 2021 Pharos Recycling moved its full crushing and washing line to Iraq. It was able to become the biggest PET flakes producer in Iraq which enabled it to provide job opportunities to the local residents and help in preserving the environment in the area. High Demand for Recycled PET Bottles in the EU Market

EU Market

The production of plastic has grown exponentially in just a few decades - from 1.5 million tonnes in 1950 to 359 million tonnes in 2018 worldwide – and with it the amount of plastic waste. After a sharp drop in production in the first half of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, production recovered again in the second half of the year. The EU is already taking measures to reduce the amount of plastic waste. In June 2019, the EU adopted new rules to target the issue of plastic litter. It includes a 25% target for recycled content in plastic bottles by 2025 and 30% by 2030. As part of the Green Deal, 55% of plastic packaging waste should be recycled by 2030.

All-purpose high-strength polyester sewing thread is used for weaves, upholstery, jeans weaving hair, and drapery posing unlimited growth opportunities.
